JLocate started as a checker: you pasted a vacancy and it told you whether the job could sponsor you. In October it became a job board as well.
A board of real vacancies
The jobs page now lists vacancies JLocate posts itself, taken from employers’ own adverts. The first are software, data and infrastructure roles at NHS trusts and public bodies in England, Wales and Scotland. Each one shows its check to anyone, with or without an account: the employer on the Home Office register of licensed sponsors, the occupation code, and the salary against the threshold that applies to you. A job leaves the board after its closing day.
Pasting a vacancy is part of Pro
Checking a vacancy you found elsewhere, on LinkedIn, from a recruiter or on a careers page, is now a Pro feature, alongside the outlook by nationality. Checks you made before the change stay readable in your workspace. The pricing page has the details.
A new address
JLocate moved to jlocate.com on 13 October, on its own server rented in France. The old address forwards here, so saved links keep working. The privacy notice says what the server keeps and for how long.
